Blackberry and blueberry join huckleberry in this 38% ABV Colorado vodka, with lavender adding an aromatic lift and blue agave providing gentle sweetness. Distilled from American grain and blended with mountain spring water, Sunset brings a ready-made fruit-and-botanical combination to a chilled pour, a simple soda highball or a citrus-led cocktail.

Product Details:

Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 38%.

Proof: 76 US proof.

Base Spirit: Vodka distilled from American grain.

Water: Mountain spring water.

Fruit & Botanical Ingredients: Blackberry, blueberry, wild huckleberry and lavender.

Sweetening: Blue agave.

Production: Small-batch vodka infused with fruit and lavender.

Settling: Natural settling may occur; shake well before serving.

Owners: Drew Leyes and Taylor Stuart.

Head Distiller: Cole Chapman.

Sensory Description:

Ripe berry aromas establish the profile, combining blackberry’s darker fruit character with blueberry and huckleberry. Lavender adds a floral, gently botanical dimension that carries through the fruit rather than replacing it. Light agave sweetness rounds the palate, supporting the berry flavours while keeping their identity at the centre of the drink. The producer describes a smooth texture and a clean finish, with fruit and soft botanical notes shaping the overall impression.

Distiller’s Background:

PURE Distilling was founded in Colorado Springs by Army veterans Drew Leyes and Taylor Stuart, whose friendship developed while studying at NYU Stern. Their approach begins with how people want to enjoy a spirit, creating distinctive flavours suited to straightforward serves and shared occasions. Head Distiller Cole Chapman leads production, bringing previous experience at Blackhat Distillery and Lee Spirits. The distillery uses glass distillation equipment and produces its own neutral-grain spirit, with Sunset extending a vodka range that also includes the citrus-focused Sunshine and peach-led Sunrise.

Serving Suggestions:

Shake well before pouring, as settling is normal, and serve chilled. Try it neat in a small tasting glass or over ice in a rocks glass to explore the berry-and-lavender combination. For a longer drink, add soda water and a lemon twist; lemonade offers a sweeter alternative, while fresh lemon juice can bring balance to a shaken cocktail. Pair with fresh goat cheese and crackers, a leafy salad with berries, or lemon-roasted chicken. For dessert, almond cake or a lightly sweetened berry tart complements the fruit without overwhelming the lavender.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2699/1632/files/PURE_Distilling_Rocky_Mountain_Sunset_Huckleberry_Lavender_Vodka_Colorado.png?v=1793473754
