Full Stop. Bakery

Full Stop. Bakery is a Boulder, Colorado bakery built around a simple idea: slow down, eat good food, and make time for the people around you. Founded by Sadie Harmon in 2020, the company specializes in small-batch, slow-fermented sourdough crackers made with simple ingredients and plenty of personality.

Full Stop began with an unexpected career change. Harmon was studying mechanical engineering in a PhD program at the University of Colorado Boulder when she realized the pace and direction of her life no longer felt right. She decided she needed what she describes as a “full stop,” stepping away from the path she was on to reconsider what mattered most. Food had always represented connection and hospitality to her, so she began looking for a way to turn that feeling into something tangible.

During a visit with family, Harmon made a batch of sourdough crackers. With plenty of feedback from her mother, sister, and willing taste testers, she continued tweaking the recipe until they landed on a cracker worth sharing. Within a month, Full Stop. Bakery was officially born, and shortly afterward, Harmon left her PhD program to pursue the business full time.

The name became more than a clever bakery reference. Full Stop’s bicycle logo shows a bike coming to an abrupt stop, a reminder that life can become so packed with commitments that people forget to slow down and enjoy what is happening around them. The crackers were created with that same philosophy in mind: something simple and genuinely good to put on the table while people gather, snack, and connect.

At the heart of Full Stop is real sourdough fermentation. The company uses sourdough starter and olive oil to create crackers with a crisp texture and developed flavor, avoiding seed oils and artificial additives. The crackers are hand-cracked and hand-packed in Boulder, maintaining the handcrafted character of the original batches even as the company has grown.

The lineup combines straightforward classics with more adventurous flavors. Olive Oil & Sea Salt provides a versatile foundation for cheese and charcuterie, while varieties such as Parmesan & Herb, Cracked Pepper & Parmesan, Sriracha & Cheddar, and vegan Tahini & Garlic turn the humble cracker into something worth eating on its own.

What began in Harmon's South Boulder home with one baker and a homemade sourdough cracker has grown into a small team and a brand reaching retailers and farmers' markets throughout Colorado and beyond. Yet the original idea remains intact: make a really good cracker from simple ingredients using genuine sourdough fermentation, and encourage people to slow down long enough to enjoy it.

Full Stop. Bakery is ultimately about more than crackers. It is the product of one founder choosing to change direction, prioritize people, and build a business around food's ability to bring them together. The result is a distinctly Colorado company with an appropriately simple invitation: take a full stop, open a bag, and stay awhile.
