Winemaker's Background:

The Cassone family’s story begins with Celestino Cassone’s emigration from Piedmont to Argentina in the late nineteenth century. His son Roberto purchased vineyards in Mendoza during the 1950s and began making wine at El Trébol, passing his knowledge and respect for the land to Eduardo. In 1999, Eduardo and his children built the family’s present winery in Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo. Still family-owned and operated, the business combines this multigenerational background with contemporary winemaking expertise.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve at approximately 16–18°C in a generously proportioned red wine glass. Pair with grilled steak, lamb, beef empanadas or roasted mushrooms; mature hard cheeses also complement its dark fruit and savoury notes.
