Cazcabel Tequila is a vibrant, estate-driven spirit rooted in the rich agricultural traditions of Jalisco’s highlands, where the Vazquez family has cultivated blue Weber agave for four generations. What began as a small, family endeavor, crafting tequila to share among friends and loved ones, has grown into a globally recognized brand, all while maintaining a deep respect for the land, the people, and the craft that define it.
At the heart of Cazcabel is a true “field-to-glass” philosophy. Every step of production is carefully managed in-house, from growing and harvesting agave to distillation and bottling. The agave is 100% estate-grown at Hacienda Cazcabel, ensuring full control over quality and consistency. Highland agave, known for its natural sweetness and bright, fruit-forward character, gives Cazcabel its signature profile, lively, expressive, and approachable without sacrificing authenticity.
Guiding the process is Master Distiller Yadira Hernandez, one of the pioneering women in the tequila industry. Deeply involved in every stage, from the agave fields to the final spirit, Yadira blends traditional techniques with a forward-thinking mindset. Her work reflects both reverence for heritage and a commitment to continual improvement, resulting in tequilas that are clean, balanced, and full of character.
Sustainability and stewardship are central to Cazcabel’s identity. The brand actively works to protect and regenerate the land, allowing fields to rest after harvest, giving agave plants more space to thrive, and investing in long-term soil health. At the distillery, initiatives such as solar energy use, composting agave fibers, and wastewater recycling help minimize environmental impact. This commitment extends beyond the land to the people, supporting a community of over 500 employees and contributing to local education, reforestation, and economic development efforts.
