Sensory Description:

Aromas of ripe strawberry, pomegranate, and blood orange mingle with hints of rose petal, garrigue herbs, and crushed stone. On the palate, the wine unfolds with depth and precision, juicy red berry fruit framed by subtle tannins and a savory mineral edge. Medium-bodied yet commanding, it finishes long and persistent, balancing its sun-warmed generosity with the saline freshness of limestone terroir. This is Tavel in its truest form: bold, textured, and gastronomic.

Winemaker's Background:

Founded in 1936 by Eugène Demoulin, Château de Trinquevedel stands as one of Tavel’s most historic and respected estates. What began as a restoration of a medieval property became a multigenerational pursuit of excellence, now led by winemaker Guillaume Demoulin. The family’s 32 hectares of organically tended vines yield rosés that embody both place and precision. Each vintage is guided by the same philosophy that shaped the estate’s rebirth nearly a century ago: respect for the soil, balance in the cellar, and an unwavering belief in Tavel’s potential for depth and longevity.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 10–12°C in a tulip-shaped white or rosé glass. Enjoy it young to capture its vibrant fruit, or cellar for two to three years to reveal richer, savory complexity. Ideal pairings include salmon gravlax, duck breast, grilled prawns, Provençal ratatouille, or veal with olives. It also shines with spiced dishes, charcuterie boards, or classic French bistro fare.

The 2024 Château de Trinquevedel Tavel Cuvée Traditionnelle is more than a rosé, it is a vinous expression of Rhône heritage. With its depth, elegance, and sense of place, it stands proudly as a benchmark for Tavel and a testament to the enduring craft of the Demoulin family.
