Winemaker’s Background:

La Cappuccina is based in a seventeenth-century Venetian villa surrounded by organically farmed vineyards in the Soave hills. The Tessari family has guided the estate for generations, with Elena Tessari and her brothers continuing a philosophy deeply tied to sustainability, biodiversity, and respect for the land. A pioneer of organic viticulture since 1985, the estate has also embraced biodynamic farming practices and minimal intervention cellar work. The underground winery, carved beneath ancient lava flows, serves as a striking reminder of the volcanic origins that shape the character of their wines.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 45–50°F in a medium-sized white wine glass to highlight the wine’s floral aromatics and mineral freshness. Ideal as an aperitif or alongside seafood, fish appetizers, poultry, vegetarian pasta dishes, grain-based soups, mild cheeses, cured meats, or anchovy pizza. It also pairs beautifully with potato gnocchi with Monte Veronese cheese or classic spaghetti carbonara.
