Brewer's Background:

pFriem Family Brewers grew from the partnership of Josh Pfriem, Ken Whiteman, and Rudy Kellner, who came together in 2011 around a shared appreciation for family, the Columbia River Gorge, and European brewing traditions. The brewery opened in Hood River in 2012. Josh Pfriem brought extensive brewing experience from Utah Brewers Cooperative, Chuckanut Brewery, and Full Sail, along with inspiration gathered while visiting European breweries. At pFriem, that background informs a brewing philosophy that draws from classic European styles while expressing a distinctly Pacific Northwest perspective.
