Winemaker's Background:

Established in 1851, Seppeltsfield is a cornerstone of the Barossa Valley’s rich viticultural history. Today, under the stewardship of Executive Chairman Warren Randall and Chief Winemaker Fiona Donald, the estate continues to honor its legacy through innovation and restoration, most notably the reactivation of the 1888 Gravity Cellar. Known globally for its fortified wines, Seppeltsfield has entered a new golden era of premium still wines, highlighting Barossa’s most iconic varietals with precision and depth.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve slightly below room temperature at 16–18°C. Pairs beautifully with herb-marinated lamb chops, venison stew, or grilled T-bone steak with crispy smashed potatoes. Also excellent alongside bold, aged cheeses like Roquefort or Gruyère.

The 2022 Seppeltsfield Shiraz is a classic yet contemporary take on Barossa power, deep, structured, and unmistakably regional, with the finesse to cellar confidently through 2035.
