Producer’s Background:

Weingut Denis Wolf is a small estate in Großkarlbach in the northern Pfalz founded by Denis Wolf in 2018. Though the winery itself is young, Wolf comes from a long winemaking lineage and trained at several of Europe’s most respected estates before launching his own project. His experience at wineries including Weingut Keller in Rheinhessen, Domaine Ostertag in Alsace, Domaine Didier Dagueneau in the Loire Valley, and Domaine Jean-Louis Chave in the Rhône helped shape a philosophy centered on careful vineyard work and minimal intervention in the cellar. The estate farms its vineyards biodynamically and achieved Demeter certification beginning with the 2021 vintage. Working with small parcels and emphasizing spontaneous fermentations and patient élevage, Denis Wolf produces wines that emphasize clarity, balance, and a transparent expression of site.

Serving Suggestions:
