From the start, Laws has rejected shortcuts. Every batch is distilled in-house, employing time-tested techniques and sour mash fermentation. They spent their first three years aging barrels and making no commercial sales, believing that time, in partnership with unique grains, is as vital an ingredient as anything else. Laws is also the first distiller in Colorado to bottle in bond, underscoring their commitment to rigor and provenance. Their flagship Four Grain Bourbon, composed of corn, heirloom wheat, rye, and barley—is available in both bonded and cask strength expressions, each one celebrating Colorado’s growing conditions and mountain climate.
