Rooted in the village of Barolo since 1870, the Barale family stands among the pioneers of fine Nebbiolo in the Langhe. Their historic winery sits discreetly in the center of town, housing a network of traditional cellars still in active use today. Under the guidance of Luigi Barale, now joined by his daughters Eleonora and Gloria, the estate has remained steadfastly traditional, resisting trends toward heavy extraction or excessive new oak. Modern techniques are embraced only when they serve the goal of preserving freshness, elegance, and terroir expression, resulting in wines of finesse and timeless character.
