Sensory Description:

The 2024 vintage delivers an expressive and fruit-driven profile, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and plum layered alongside violet, eucalyptus, and black pepper. On the palate, it is dense yet energetic, with a core of ripe black fruit balanced by fresh acidity and a subtle herbal lift. The partial whole cluster fermentation adds aromatic complexity and vibrancy, while the use of concrete preserves purity and texture. Soft, velvety tannins provide structure without heaviness, leading to a smooth, opulent finish accented by hints of chocolate, spice, and floral notes. The result is a Malbec that balances richness with lift and immediacy.

Winemaker’s Background:

Founded in 2009 by Matias Riccitelli, the winery reflects a modern vision rooted in exploration and respect for terroir. The son of renowned winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, Matias developed his craft through international experience before establishing his own project focused on high-altitude vineyards and old vines. Working with estate fruit and independent growers, he emphasizes hand harvesting, natural fermentations, and minimal intervention to produce wines defined by freshness, precision, and authenticity.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve at 16 to 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to highlight its aromatic intensity and texture. Ideal with grilled red meats, burgers, or dishes featuring bold flavors, it also pairs well with blue cheese and roasted vegetables. Enjoy upon release or cellar for up to 4 years to explore added integration and complexity.
