Clear with faint straw-gold reflections, Veritas - Probitas White Blended Rum opens with expressive aromas of ripe banana, freshly sliced pineapple, vanilla cream, and tropical fruit. Subtle notes of green apple, lime zest, and fresh sugarcane bring brightness, while delicate hints of clove, toasted coconut, and Jamaican pot-still esters add complexity. The palate is rich and rounded, revealing pineapple, banana cream, white chocolate, and soft butterscotch, balanced by lively citrus and gentle herbal freshness. A distinctive oily texture gives the rum impressive weight, while black pepper, liquorice, and warm spice contribute depth. Distiller’s Background:

Introduced in 2018, Veritas was created through a collaboration between Luca Gargano of Italian rum specialist Velier and Richard Seale, Master Distiller and Blender at Foursquare Rum Distillery. The project brings together Foursquare's refined Barbadian rum-making traditions and Hampden Estate's distinctive Jamaican pot-still character. Seale assembles the blend using three carefully selected components, including a two-year-aged Foursquare rum that adds depth without overwhelming the fresh spirit. Known as Probitas in the United States, the brand champions authentic Caribbean production, transparent blending, and rum free from added sugar or flavourings.

Serve neat at approximately 18 to 20 degrees Celsius in a small tulip-shaped tasting glass to explore its tropical fruit aromatics, creamy texture, and layered spice.
