2026 Wine Club Changes

Hey, all. It's me, Hunter Rudd.

I'm the fool that agreed to be the CEO for this bunch of boozy, merry misfits.

Each year, we are forced to consider increasing prices, reducing (already nonexistent) profits, or compromising on the increases in our talents' wages.

Our Wine Club does not, will not, and is not intended to operate at a profit.

It is designed and calibrated to pay our product cost, allow our sommeliers to bring the the best wines to our shelves at great prices, and pay our talented team well.

Tariff-related and inflation-related increases in supplier costs were noticeable this year more than any other.

First, the price of our bags alone went from $0.45 to nearly $2.25. We used to be able to give out one bag per month, per club member.

Our employees live those cost increases every day, and they deserve to afford them.

Because of all the other cost-related increases, we're getting rid of on-time bags to pay for everything else.

Second, Jessica and Jennifer are so good at finding the newest, freshest, best wines arriving on the Colorado market for our Wine Club members.

That means blizzards like the one on the east coast right now really mess up the timing of our Wine Club release.

To accommodate this, we're moving our Wine Club release day from the 1st of the month to the 1st Wednesday of the month.

This ensures that we have two non-weekend business days before each release. With this change, we can now allow pickup and delivery Wine Club members

Our Wine Club will always be the most honest, transparent, and valuable Wine Club in the country.

The loss in profit, stabilization of day-of-the-week for releases, and the sacrifice on bags to keep our prices steady for customers feels right.
