Winemaker's Background:

Thierry Forestier founded Domaine Mont de Marie after leaving a conventional career in IT to pursue a life of farming and winemaking in the village of Souvignargues, east of Nîmes. Farming 12 hectares of Aramon, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, Viognier, and Ugni Blanc, Thierry emphasizes soil health and biodiversity, avoiding all synthetic treatments in the vineyard. A pivotal experience working with Eric Pfifferling of Domaine L’Anglore inspired Thierry to shift from conventional to fully natural methods, shaping his signature style of elegant, unadulterated wines that reflect their terroir.
