PURE Distilling was founded in Colorado Springs by Army veterans Drew Leyes and Taylor Stuart, whose friendship developed while studying at NYU Stern. Head Distiller Cole Chapman leads production, bringing previous experience at Blackhat Distillery and Lee Spirits. The distillery uses glass distillation equipment and produces its own neutral-grain spirit, with Sunset extending a vodka range that also includes the citrus-focused Sunshine and peach-led Sunrise.
