2024 Le Fracce Peu Moussant Brut is an energetic Riesling Renano sparkling wine that combines bright orchard fruit with fine bubbles and a distinctly savory freshness. Grown on sandy-clay soils, the Riesling is softly pressed and fermented in stainless steel before a second fermentation using the Charmat method. Its deliberately restrained pressure gives the bubbles an elegant, gentle presence rather than an aggressive mousse. Fresh apple and apricot lead the profile, while the palate balances appealing roundness with crisp acidity, lively effervescence and a clean, sapid finish.

Sensory Description:

Bright straw yellow with a fine, lively perlage. The nose is delicate and fruit-driven, led by freshly ripe apple and apricot with subtle floral and citrus nuances. The palate has an attractive roundness that is immediately lifted by the bubbles, giving the wine both softness and energy. Crisp acidity and a distinctly savory character bring definition through the finish, leaving a fresh, clean, and gently persistent impression.

Winemaker's Background:

Tenuta Le Fracce was founded by Giulio Bussolera in 1905 and today forms part of the agricultural heritage of the Fondazione Bussolera-Branca. Enologist and agronomist Roberto Gerbino has shaped the estate's modern wine program since 1999, combining research, environmentally conscious viticulture and experimentation with a strong commitment to the traditional varieties of Oltrepò Pavese.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve at approximately 6-8°C. Peu Moussant is particularly well suited to aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres, while its bright acidity and gentle mousse pair naturally with risotto, tempura, sushi and delicate fish preparations. It also works well with seafood and lightly prepared white meats.
