Grapefruit peel, fresh herbs, and light evergreen notes open against a clean lager foundation. Milieu Fermentation x Tightknit Brewing 'Yacht Club' West Coast Pilsner Beer combines the crisp structure of a pale lager with the brighter aromatic character and dry bitterness associated with the modern West Coast Pilsner style. Its focused, refreshing profile reflects Milieu’s technical lager program and TightKnit’s commitment to carefully made small-batch beer.

Sensory Description:

The aroma presents bright citrus peel, delicate herbal hops, and a subtle resinous note over pale grain. The palate is crisp and lean, with lively carbonation and a clean malt foundation supporting firm, refreshing bitterness. Citrus pith and light evergreen character build through the mid-palate before settling into a dry, focused finish with lingering hop definition.

Brewer's Background:

Milieu Fermentation was founded in Aurora by Andrew Bergeron and Rob Bessett, former colleagues who transformed an existing brewery space into a fermentation-focused taproom in 2024. Bessett leads brewing on a 10-barrel system, with the brewery placing particular emphasis on precisely made lagers, hop-driven beer, and oak-aged fermentation. TightKnit Brewing produces small-batch lagers and ales in Evans, focusing on detailed recipe development, community relationships, and consistent quality. Yacht Club brings the two Colorado breweries together around a modern lager style that connects clean fermentation with expressive hop character.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in a pilsner glass or slender lager glass to emphasize its crisp carbonation, pale malt, and aromatic hop profile. Pair with grilled fish, roast chicken, fish tacos, fried seafood, sharp cheddar, herb-led salads, or lightly spiced dishes.
