With only 80 cases produced, it reflects Pollard’s small-scale approach and the agricultural roots that continue to guide her work in the vineyard.

Sensory Description:

Fresh peach and strawberry lead the aromatic profile, followed by a subtle herbal lift reminiscent of a spring kitchen garden. The palate is refined and structured for rosé, with Cabernet Franc defining the youthful fruit. Bright freshness carries the peach and red berry tones through the mid-palate, while savory herbal notes add complexity and keep the finish focused and composed.

Winemaker's Background:

Robin Pollard founded Pollard Per Se after a career spanning agriculture, tourism, wine, and economic development, returning to the farming roots established during her childhood on an Iowa livestock and grain farm. Pollard Vineyard is a 10-acre site planted on a southwest-facing slope, with half of its acreage devoted to Cabernet Franc. Vineyard manager Patrick Rawn has been involved with the site since its establishment, while longtime collaborator and Andrew Will founder Chris Camarda brings his experience with Washington-grown Bordeaux varieties to the winemaking. Isla Rosé adds a personal dimension to the project, carrying the name of Pollard’s granddaughter, Isla Jayne.
