2025 Domaine du Grand Bouqueteau Chinon Rosé is a bright, dry expression of Cabernet Franc that captures the grape's aromatic character in a refreshing Loire Valley style. Grown on sandy soils and gently direct-pressed, the fruit is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Fragrant red berries lead the way, complemented by subtle floral, herbal and mineral notes. Soft and perfumed with satisfying weight through the palate, it combines the presence of Cabernet Franc with the crisp, lively finish of a classic dry rosé.

Product Details:

Sensory Description:

Delicately pink and highly aromatic, with fresh red berries at the center of the bouquet and subtle floral, herbal, and mineral accents adding complexity. The palate is dry, soft and perfumed, with more weight and presence than its refreshing profile initially suggests. Bright acidity keeps the fruit lively and precise, while a gentle mineral character brings definition. The finish is crisp, clean and refreshing, balancing Cabernet Franc's savory complexity with the brightness of a dry rosé.

Winemaker's Background:

Domaine du Grand Bouqueteau is a Chinon estate with vineyards historically documented across approximately 30 hectares of sand, clay and limestone soils. The domaine has a longstanding association with Cabernet Franc, producing both red and rosé expressions of the variety. Named current ownership and production personnel were specifically searched but could not be reliably verified, so the 2025 Chinon Rosé is attributed to the Producer Team.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well chilled. Its red-fruit freshness, gentle herbal character and crisp acidity make it particularly versatile with seafood, grilled fish, salads, charcuterie, fresh cheeses and lighter poultry dishes. It also works well with Mediterranean cooking, vegetable dishes and casual outdoor meals, while remaining refreshing enough to enjoy on its own.
