Bright, dry and energetic, 2024 Vignobles Raymond Les Hauts de Lagarde Rosé brings a distinctly Bordeaux character to an easygoing, fruit-driven style. Merlot leads the blend, joined by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, creating layers of tangy strawberry and red fruit framed by floral notes, spice and a subtle herbal edge. With very low residual sugar, lively freshness and a persistent finish, this organically grown and vegan rosé combines immediate appeal with enough structure to carry comfortably to the table.

Brilliant pink in color, with an expressive combination of red fruit, flowers, spice and subtle herbal notes. The palate is dry, fresh and well balanced, with enough structure to give the wine definition without sacrificing its easygoing character. Bright acidity carries the fruit and spice through a clean, persistent finish.

Awards & Accolades:

  • Tastings.com: 90 Points, Gold Medal

Winemaker's Background:

The Raymond family's winegrowing history in Bordeaux dates to 1850. Lionel Raymond, representing the family's seventh generation, took over from his father Jean-Pierre in 2000 and led the conversion of the family's vineyards to organic agriculture. Based in Entre-Deux-Mers, Maison Raymond combines generations of family viticulture with a longstanding commitment to organic farming and environmentally conscious production. Named current production personnel were specifically searched for the 2024 Les Hauts de Lagarde Rosé but could not be verified, so the wine is attributed to the Producer Team.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well chilled. Its dry profile, bright red fruit and herbal-spiced freshness make it a versatile match for appetizers, barbecue, spicy dishes, poultry and grilled fish. It also pairs well with seafood salads, steamed vegetables and grilled mushroom dishes.
