From the rugged hills of Álamos in Sonora comes Yoowe El Viejo El Sabio Bacanora, a spirit born from wisdom, patience, and the desert’s enduring soul. Translating to “The Old Man, The Wise Man,” this Bacanora captures the essence of northern Mexico’s centuries-old agave tradition. Crafted from wild Agave Pacifica (Angustifolia Haw) cooked underground with mesquite and oak, it honors both ancestral methods and the arid landscape that shaped them. Aged in glass for quiet refinement, El Viejo El Sabio reveals the spirit of Sonora, earthy, reflective, and profoundly alive.
