From one of Rioja's most iconic family estates, Muga Rosado 2024 is a beautifully refined expression of Spanish rosé, balancing freshness, texture, and elegance. Crafted from a traditional Rioja blend of Garnacha Tintorera, Viura, and Tempranillo, the wine captures the character of old vineyards in Rioja Alta while showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that has defined Bodegas Muga for generations. Extended lees ageing lends subtle richness to its vibrant fruit profile, resulting in a rosé that is equally refreshing as an aperitif or alongside the table.

Winemaker Background:

Founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño, Bodegas Muga remains one of Rioja's great family-owned wineries, now guided by the third generation. Located in Haro's historic Barrio de la Estación, the estate has earned an international reputation for combining traditional craftsmanship with thoughtful innovation. Muga remains the only winery in Rioja with its own cooperage, producing its own oak barrels while maintaining meticulous attention to detail from vineyard to bottle. Their sustainable viticulture, careful parcel selection, and commitment to classic Rioja winemaking continue to produce wines celebrated for their elegance, longevity, and unmistakable sense of place.
