The 2025 Broc Cellars Love Rosé is a vibrant celebration of California's lesser-known grape varieties, combining freshness, energy, and effortless drinkability. Built around organically farmed Valdiguié and complemented by Souzao and Touriga Nacional, this naturally fermented rosé highlights bright fruit, lively acidity, and a gentle textural richness from extended lees aging. Crafted with minimal intervention, it is an expressive, food-friendly rosé that perfectly captures Broc Cellars' philosophy of making honest wines that reflect both vineyard and vintage.

Sensory Description:

Pale coral pink in the glass, the bouquet bursts with aromas of strawberry agua fresca, ripe watermelon, fresh cherry, and delicate floral notes. The palate is juicy and energetic, layering vibrant red berry fruit with crisp citrus freshness and subtle spice contributed by the Touriga Nacional. Lees aging lends a gentle creaminess that beautifully balances the wine's lively acidity, while a clean mineral finish leaves lingering impressions of watermelon, cherry candy, and fresh summer fruit.

Winemaker’s Background:

Founded in Berkeley by Chris Brockway, Broc Cellars has become one of California's leading voices in natural and minimal-intervention winemaking. Inspired by the belief that California wines can be fresh, balanced, and expressive rather than heavy and overripe, Broc works exclusively with organically farmed vineyards and relies on spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts. Since acquiring Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino in 2023, the winery has expanded its commitment to estate farming while continuing to champion heritage and underappreciated grape varieties that reflect the diversity of California's viticultural landscape.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well chilled at 8 to 10°C in a rosé or medium-sized white wine glass. Pair with burgers, grilled vegetables, charcuterie, fish tacos, Mediterranean salads, picnic fare, or simply enjoy poolside on a warm afternoon.
