Brewer's Background:

Creature Comforts opened in April 2014 in a restored former tire warehouse in downtown Athens, Georgia. David Stein’s recipe development and Adam Beauchamp’s production-brewing experience helped shape its early beers, while co-founder Chris Herron contributed beverage-industry business expertise. The brewery’s focus on balanced flavor and technical consistency sits alongside a commitment to its hometown through initiatives including Get Comfortable and Brew For One. Beauchamp succeeded Herron as CEO in 2024, continuing the company’s emphasis on beer, community and human connection.
