Distiller's Background:

Founded by Stephen and Amanda Paul, Whiskey Del Bac was born from a backyard mesquite fire and a glass of Scotch in Tucson, Arizona. Stephen’s furniture background gave him an intimate knowledge of mesquite, which became the brand’s signature wood. Amanda, inspired by her father’s experimentations, returned from New York to co-found Whiskey Del Bac and bring its distinctly Southwestern identity to life. The distillery is now known for reviving and redefining American Single Malts and rye whiskies through local elements and ancestral storytelling. Amanda continues to lead the business and its creative vision, making her one of the few female distillery founders in the country.
