This once-a-year release reveals the layered results of extended aging in American Oak bourbon barrels, with each sip expressing a harmonic convergence of cacao, whiskey-soaked wood, and dark-roast richness. Bold, elegant, and endlessly expressive, B-Bomb is brewed for winter’s longest nights and those who don’t fear the depth.

Sensory Description:
Rich layers of dried fig, molasses, and brown sugar rise from the glass with concentrated warmth. On the palate, chocolate-dipped raisins, toffee, and dark roast coffee unfold across a smooth, full body, underpinned by subtle threads of leather and oak. Barrel aging adds quiet notes of vanilla and warm whiskey spice, trailing into a long, gently warming finish. The structure is bold yet balanced, unfolding slowly, like a fireside tale told over hours.

Brewer's Background:
Founded in 2009 by attorney-turned-brewer Matt Lincecum, Fremont Brewing began in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood as a passion project rooted in community and sustainability. What started on a 15-barrel brewhouse quickly expanded into Fremont West, a modern 80,000-square-foot facility producing award-winning ales and lagers. With a commitment to local sourcing and small-batch excellence, Fremont champions a philosophy grounded in quality, creativity, and environmental responsibility, because beer, as they say, matters.
Serving Suggestions:
Best served at 55–60°F in a wide-bowled goblet or snifter to capture its full aromatic depth. Pour gently to preserve the integration of aged character and effervescence. Ideal as a fireside sipper or as a pairing for rich fare like braised short ribs, duck confit, aged blue cheese, or dark chocolate torte. B-Bomb also rewards cellaring, developing new layers of complexity over 3–5 years or longer.
Fremont Brewing B-Bomb Barrel-Aged Imperial Winter Ale is not just a seasonal beer, it’s a ritual. A study in balance and barrel aging, brewed for the adventurous and aged for those who wait.
