Springbank Distillery, founded in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s original illicit still, has been family-run for generations. Currently owned by three trust funds and overseen by the Mitchell family, Springbank remains the most handmade whisky in Scotland. As the only distillery in the country to complete 100% of the production process on-site, from malting to bottling, Springbank maintains total control over quality.
