Winemaker’s Background:

Oddbird was founded in Sweden in 2013 by Moa Gürbüzer after more than two decades of work as a social worker and family therapist dealing with alcohol-related harm. The family-founded company developed around the idea that choosing wine with or without alcohol should be an ordinary part of drinking culture rather than a compromise. Today, Oddbird works with traditionally vinified wines that are given time to mature before alcohol removal, placing particular emphasis on preserving aroma, texture, acidity, and structural balance. Presence applies that approach to organically grown aromatic white varieties from Alsace and southern France, with natural fermentation and extended maturation preceding dealcoholization.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 8 to 10 degrees Celsius in a medium-sized white wine glass to give the floral, citrus, and tropical aromas room to develop while retaining its mineral freshness.
