Producer’s Background:

Weingut Leitz is a family estate based in Rüdesheim am Rhein, with Johannes Leitz taking responsibility for the winery in 1985 and developing it from a small family holding into an estate managing approximately 90 hectares. Riesling remains central to the winery's identity, accounting for the majority of its vineyard plantings, while its farming and cellar work are supported by independently audited FAIR'N GREEN sustainability certification. Johannes now works alongside his son Antonius as the next generation of the family. The EINS-ZWEI-ZERO project extends the estate's wine-focused approach into dealcoholized wines, using finished wine as the starting point and low-temperature vacuum technology to preserve varietal aroma, acidity, and balance.
