It’s smooth, approachable, and built for steady sipping—whether you're riding into the weekend or winding down after a long day.

Brewer's Background:

Founded in Aurora, Colorado, Second Dawn Brewing Co. takes its name from both place and philosophy. “Aurora,” meaning dawn in Latin, reflects the brewery’s hometown roots, while “Second Dawn” symbolizes that golden part of the day when work ends and true enjoyment begins. Their mission is to create beers that are both familiar and transportive—each pour crafted to be a portal to your happy place.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve Steel Horse Amber Ale chilled at 45–50°F in a nonic pint or tulip glass. Its malt-driven character makes it an ideal pairing with burgers, grilled sausages, roasted vegetables, and aged cheddar. Whether you're relaxing fireside or toasting with friends, this amber ale is the perfect companion to laid-back, flavor-forward moments.

Rich in flavor yet effortlessly smooth, Steel Horse Amber Ale delivers classic comfort with Colorado charm—a true workhorse of a beer ready to ride along with every occasion.

Second Dawn Brewing Company

Second Dawn Brewing Company emerged in Aurora, Colorado, as a heartfelt expression of gratitude, creativity, and craftsmanship. The name nods both to the city itself, Aurora being Latin for “dawn”, and to the time when the workday ends and the best part begins: the second dawn, that moment of relaxation and connection. The brewery lives this philosophy: Second Dawn is the happy place, and every beer is intended as a gateway to yours.
