Product Details:

• Adjuncts: Peanut caramel nougat chocolate bars and milk sugar
• ABV: 7%

Sensory Description:

Chocolate and roasted malt form the dark foundation, layered with the distinctive combination of peanut, caramel, and nougat suggested by the beer's candy-bar ingredients. Milk sugar reinforces the stout's dessert-oriented character and contributes to a rounded, creamy impression on the palate. Rich chocolate and caramel tones carry through the finish alongside nutty peanut character, giving the beer an intentionally decadent profile while retaining the roasted depth of its stout base.

Brewer's Background:

WeldWerks Brewing Co. was established in 2015 and built its reputation around an expansive approach to modern craft beer, ranging from hop-forward releases to heavily flavored specialty stouts and experimental limited-production beers. Kid In A Candy Store sits firmly within the brewery's more playful side, using recognizable confectionery ingredients to shape the character of the finished beer rather than simply evoke them through malt alone. The combination of peanut caramel nougat chocolate bars and milk sugar turns the stout format toward a deliberately rich, dessert-inspired expression while preserving the dark malt foundation expected of the style.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve at approximately 10 to 13 degrees Celsius in a stout, tulip, or snifter-style glass, allowing the chocolate, peanut, caramel, and nougat character to become more expressive as the beer warms slightly. Pair with chocolate cake, brownies, vanilla ice cream, peanut butter desserts, salted caramel pastries, or roasted nuts. It can also work as a dessert on its own, particularly when served at a temperature that allows its richer malt and confectionery character to fully emerge.
