Askaneli Brothers began in 1998 under the leadership of the Chkhaidze brothers, revitalizing a family legacy that traces back to their ancestor Antimoz Chkhaidze and his 19th-century cellar in the village of Askana. Rooted in Georgia’s historic qvevri winemaking tradition, Askaneli has grown into one of Georgia’s most respected producers, cultivating hundreds of hectares across Kakheti and Guria while preserving and recovering native grape varieties. Today, the winery produces more than 60 wines alongside chacha, brandy, and sparkling offerings, all crafted with a commitment to authenticity, heritage, and Georgian identity.
