Winemaker's Background:

Founded in 1994 by Warren and Jeanne Smith, along with their son, Barr, and daughter-in-law, Ann, Barlow Vineyards remains a family-run estate rooted in farming and science. What began as a small lot of Cabernet Sauvignon for family and friends quickly evolved into a thriving winery producing limited, estate-grown wines from their 50-acre property. Today, the third generation, Alyssa and Zachary Smith, continues the legacy with renewed energy, blending tradition with modern stewardship. Each bottle reflects their hands-on commitment to the land and the enduring belief that great wine begins in the vineyard.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve between 60–65°F (16–18°C) in a large-bowled red wine glass. Decant for 30–45 minutes to allow the fruit and oak to harmonize. Ideal with grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, or aged cheddar. Its lush texture and balanced tannins also make it a natural complement to hearty vegetarian dishes, such as mushroom risotto or roasted root vegetables.

A wine of generosity and grace, the 2019 Barlow Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon embodies the enduring character of family farming, crafted by hand, shared with heart, and built to age beautifully.
