Brewer’s Background:

Bootstrap Brewing was founded in 2012 by Leslie and Steve Kaczeus, who left careers in the technology industry to pursue their goal of building an independent Colorado craft brewery. The company developed around an adventurous approach to beer, an irreverent personality, and a strong connection to music, with individual releases regularly matched to their own soundtrack. From its Longmont brewery, Bootstrap produces a broad range of ales and lagers while maintaining the independent identity established by its founders. Boat Snack fits naturally into that philosophy, combining the fruit-forward appeal of a modern Hazy IPA with moderate bitterness and a deliberately relaxed drinking style.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at approximately 7 to 10 degrees Celsius in an IPA glass, tulip, or nonic pint to emphasize its fruit-forward aromatics and soft texture. Pair with fish tacos, grilled shrimp, fried chicken, burgers, nachos, pizza, spicy chicken sandwiches, or moderately hot Mexican and Southeast Asian dishes. Its juicy character also works well with tangy cheeses and citrus-driven preparations, while the restrained bitterness makes it flexible enough for casual snacks and lighter grilled foods.
