Winemaker's Background:

For over a century, the Zafeirakis family has cultivated vines in the region of Tyrnavos, located in the foothills of Mount Olympus in Central Greece. Since taking the reins in the early 2000s, Christos Zafeirakis has transformed the family domaine into one of Greece’s leading estates by championing biodynamic viticulture and reviving native varieties like Limniona. After studying oenology in Tuscany, Christos returned home to implement low-intervention winemaking techniques that highlight terroir over manipulation. His wines are crafted with minimal inputs, spontaneous fermentations, and a deep respect for nature’s rhythm, producing bottlings that are both soulful and technically precise.
