Delinquente Wine Co. was founded by Riverland-raised winemaker Con-Greg “Greg” Grigoriou, who established the label with a focus on varieties and styles suited to South Australia’s hot, dry Riverland climate. Bizzarro extends that independent approach beyond wine, using skin-contact Vermentino, neutral grape spirit, Riverland citrus, rhubarb, gentian, and other botanicals to create an Australian interpretation of bitter aperitivo. For this limited release, Delinquente collaborated with Michael Chiem of Sydney cocktail institution PS40, bringing PS40’s drinks-focused approach together with Riverland yuzu, strawberry shrub, verjuice, and Bizzarro in a low-alcohol ready-to-drink format.
