Domaine du Clos Roussely, located in Angé near the banks of the Cher River, has been in the Roussely family for four generations. Since taking the reins in the late 1990s, Vincent Roussely has transformed the domaine into one of the rising stars of Touraine. The estate’s vineyards, some over 80 years old, are cultivated without chemicals, using horses for the oldest parcels to protect soil biodiversity. Winemaking takes place in extraordinary 18th-century tuffeau cellars carved beneath the vines, providing natural conditions for fermentation and aging.
