Select Tier

The Select Tier this month celebrates wines rooted in regional identity and everyday enjoyment, showcasing producers who capture the spirit of their landscapes through approachable yet expressive bottlings. Spanning France, Spain, California, and Greece, these selections emphasize freshness, versatility, and the enduring appeal of Mediterranean-inspired winemaking.

From the Rhône Valley, Château de Montfaucon ‘La Côte’ Côtes du Rhône reflects the warmth and savory depth that have long defined the region. Built on southern Rhône tradition, the wine balances ripe fruit, spice, and earthy undertones with a structure designed for both immediate pleasure and food-friendly versatility. Its companion white, Château de Montfaucon Viognier, offers a brighter expression of the south of France, highlighting Viognier’s signature floral aromatics and stone fruit character while maintaining freshness and lift.

Mas des Bressades ‘Les Vignes de Mon Père’ Cabernet–Syrah from the Gard region further explores southern French character through a blend that merges Cabernet Sauvignon’s structure with Syrah’s spice and richness. The result is generous yet balanced, reflecting the sun-soaked vineyards and relaxed spirit of the Mediterranean countryside.

From Spain’s Basque coast, Lasalde Elkartea ‘Balea’ Txakoli Hondarrabi Zuri brings a completely different perspective, bright, saline, and vibrant. Shaped by Atlantic breezes and steep coastal vineyards, this traditional Txakoli captures the freshness and energy that have made the style increasingly celebrated beyond northern Spain.

California’s Richvale ‘I Love Pizza’ Red Blend leans into accessibility and pure enjoyment, delivering ripe fruit and soft texture in a wine designed for casual gatherings and shared meals. Meanwhile, Zacharias Vineyards Merlot from the Peloponnese highlights Greece’s evolving modern wine scene, combining familiar varietal character with Mediterranean warmth and a polished, easygoing profile.

Together, these wines showcase how diverse regions across the globe continue to craft bottles that are deeply tied to local culture and climate while remaining welcoming, expressive, and endlessly drinkable.

Premium Tier

The Premium Tier this month focuses on wines shaped by precision, site expression, and a strong sense of balance. From volcanic soils in Sicily to the steep river valleys of Germany and the rugged coastal elevations of California, these selections highlight producers whose philosophies are grounded in restraint, patience, and respect for terroir.

Grgich Hills Estate Zinfandel from Napa Valley offers a refined interpretation of one of California’s most historic varieties. Rather than emphasizing sheer ripeness, the wine balances concentration with structure and freshness, reflecting the estate’s longstanding commitment to organic farming and classically styled winemaking.

From the Santa Cruz Mountains, Sante Arcangeli Family Wines ‘Split Rail Vineyard’ Chardonnay captures the tension and minerality possible in California Chardonnay when cool-climate influence and careful vineyard stewardship take center stage. Layered yet restrained, it reflects both coastal energy and meticulous craftsmanship.

Tenute Ballasanti Sicilia Nerello Mascalese channels the volcanic character of Sicily into a wine of lifted aromatics, bright acidity, and savory complexity. Often compared to Pinot Noir for its elegance and transparency, Nerello Mascalese continues to define Sicily’s rise as one of Italy’s most compelling fine wine regions.

Completing the tier, Weingut Cantzheim ‘Schlange’ Kabinett Riesling from Germany’s Saar region showcases the precision and delicacy that have made the area world-renowned. Driven by acidity, minerality, and low-alcohol elegance, the wine demonstrates how balance and purity can create extraordinary depth without heaviness.

Together, these wines reflect a shared commitment to thoughtful winemaking and terroir-driven expression, offering a collection that values nuance, structure, and a lasting sense of place over excess.

Private Sommelier Tier

Our Private Sommelier Tier continues to center on highly individualized curation, where each shipment reflects not only exceptional producers, but the personal tastes, cellar ambitions, and dining preferences of each member. These selections are designed to move beyond standard allocations, offering access to wines that embody rarity, precision, and a profound connection to place.

This month’s lineup highlights some of the world’s most distinctive terroirs and traditions. From northern Italy, Bianchi's ‘Vigneto Valferana’ Gattinara Riserva DOCG showcases Nebbiolo in one of its most elegant and mineral-driven forms. Shaped by volcanic soils and long aging, the wine balances structure and longevity with remarkable finesse, illustrating why Gattinara remains one of Piedmont’s most revered yet understated appellations.

Burgundy collectors received Domaine Moniot Nié ‘Les Languettes’ Corton-Charlemagne, a Grand Cru Chardonnay that captures the power and precision of the Côte de Beaune’s legendary limestone slopes. Layered, textural, and deeply age-worthy, it reflects the meticulous craftsmanship and site transparency that define the world’s finest white Burgundies.

From Germany’s Nahe region, Schlossgut Diel Dorsheimer Goldloch Riesling Sekt Brut Nature offers a strikingly refined sparkling wine rooted in both tradition and precision. Crafted from Riesling and finished with zero dosage, it delivers tension, minerality, and crystalline freshness, demonstrating the growing global stature of Germany’s top sparkling producers.

Completing the selections, Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé from Provence brings a benchmark expression of Mediterranean rosé into focus. Known for its structure, savory complexity, and ability to evolve with age, Tempier continues to define Bandol through wines that balance freshness with remarkable depth and character.

Together, these wines represent the breadth and philosophy of the Private Sommelier Tier, where every bottle is chosen not simply for prestige, but for its ability to offer a singular and memorable experience tailored to each member’s evolving palate and cellar journey.
