  • Best New Products: NOSH Best of 2024 Awards, awarded to the Fly By Jing Noodles range comprising Chili Crisp and Sweet & Spicy varieties

Producer's Background:

Founded by Jing Gao in 2018, Fly By Jing draws on her upbringing in Chengdu and the city’s informal “fly restaurants,” known for attracting devoted diners. Gao’s work began with sharing Sichuan flavors through pop-up meals before expanding into condiments and pantry staples. The noodle range carries that approach into convenient meals built around distinctive sauces and carefully developed texture.

Serving Suggestions:

Boil the noodles in water for 6 minutes, drain, then toss thoroughly with the sauce and dried chives. Serve warm, adding sautéed greens, mushrooms or crisp tofu for a more substantial meal. A soft-boiled egg adds richness, while sliced cucumber provides a cool, crunchy accompaniment.
