Winemaker's Background:

Fratelli Ponte is a multi-generational family winery rooted in a long tradition of winemaking. The modern estate dates to the years following World War II, when Carlo Ponte established a small cellar to produce wine from his Barbera vineyards. His son Giuseppe later expanded the vineyards and built a larger winery, strengthening the family’s presence in the wine community. Today, the third generation continues the legacy, with Massimo, Ivan, and Renato Ponte actively managing the vineyards, cellar operations, and global presentation of the wines. Their collaborative work preserves the family’s heritage while maintaining a consistent focus on quality and approachability.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well chilled at 6 to 8°C in a small white wine or sparkling wine glass to highlight its delicate aromatics and lively sparkle. Its natural sweetness and low alcohol make it a perfect pairing for fresh fruit, light pastries, almond biscotti, fruit tarts, or creamy desserts, and it can also be enjoyed on its own as a refreshing aperitif.
