The Leitz family's winemaking history is rooted in Rüdesheim am Rhein, where Johannes Leitz assumed responsibility for the family estate in 1985 after completing his training as a master vintner. From the small vineyard holding he inherited, Johannes developed Weingut Leitz into a recognized Rheingau producer while maintaining Riesling at the center of the estate's identity. The EINS-ZWEI-ZERO range extends that experience into alcohol-free wine, beginning with carefully produced base wines before using low-temperature vacuum distillation to remove the alcohol while retaining as much aroma and varietal character as possible.
