Sensory Description:

The 2024 Coeur du Mont opens with luminous aromas of lemon, lime zest, gooseberry, peach, and subtle exotic fruits, lifted by a crisp impression of oyster shell. A whisper of ginger adds intrigue. On the palate, the wine strikes a beautiful balance, silky and generous at first sip, then tightening into a tensile, mineral backbone that reflects its rocky soils. Bright citrus, peach flesh, and delicate saline notes extend into a fresh, tasty finish with a lingering, fruit-driven aftertaste.

Winemaker's Background:

Since the late 1970s, the Dubard family has expanded from their origins in Bergerac at Château Laulerie to multiple estates across Southwestern France, including holdings in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Puisseguin Saint-Émilion. Their philosophy centers on “listening to the terroir,” blending deep agricultural know-how with vineyard stewardship rooted in environmental respect. Their recent HEV certification reflects decades of sustainable farming, thoughtful viticulture, and a commitment to crafting wines that speak clearly of their soils and climate.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 8–10°C (46–50°F). This Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with fresh oysters, grilled or poached white fish, goat cheese, spring vegetables, citrus salads, and sushi. Its mineral tension also makes it an excellent match for simple seafood pastas and dishes flavored with fresh herbs.

With its crystalline fruit, coastal-like minerality, and graceful texture, the 2024 Famille Dubard Coeur du Mont Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, elegant expression of Southwestern France, refreshing on its own and stunning at the table.
