Sensory Description:

Pale salmon in the glass, this rosé opens with delicate aromas of orange blossom, lime leaf, wild herbs, and wet stone, layered with subtle citrus and fresh red berry notes. The palate is crisp and finely textured, balancing bright minerality with vibrant citrus, gentle orchard fruit, and a savoury grip that carries through to a long, refreshing finish. Elegant, restrained, and unmistakably terroir-driven, it offers freshness with impressive depth.

Winemaker's Background:

Christophe Avi farms approximately 20 hectares of biodiverse vineyards near Laplume in southwest France. After leaving the local Buzet cooperative nearly three decades ago, he dedicated himself to sustainable, regenerative viticulture focused on expressing the character of his vineyards through low-intervention winemaking. Selected by Mary Taylor as an ambassador for the IGP Agenais, Christophe's wines embody the European tradition of expressing place above variety, highlighting the individuality of this historic yet often overlooked corner of Aquitaine.
