Sensory Description:
Pale and luminous in the glass, Le Secret de Léoube opens with captivating aromas of citrus zest, white peach, and delicate floral notes. The palate is finely textured, silky, and round, with layers of mandarin, stone fruit, and a subtle hint of spice on the finish. Balanced by fresh acidity, this rosé exhibits a persistent length and understated power cloaked in finesse.
Winemaker's Background:
Château Léoube is nestled within Cap Bénat, one of Europe’s most pristine protected coastal enclaves in Provence. Originally established in the 14th century and acquired by the Bamford family in 1997, the estate has become a benchmark for sustainable viticulture in France. With organic certification since 2011 and a deep respect for the region’s biodiversity, the Léoube estate continues to produce wines of integrity, character, and elegance under the stewardship of the Bamford family.
Serving Suggestions:
Ideal as an apéritif or with Mediterranean dishes, grilled meats, fish, Provençal tapas, and steak tartare. Its freshness and structure also make it a delightful partner for winter fare when served slightly chilled.
A true gem of Provence, the 2023 Château Léoube Le Secret de Léoube Rosé is a refined, expressive wine that embodies the harmony of nature, tradition, and modern elegance.
